On June 15, 2024, the Banking Law Association organized a one-day training dedicated to improving knowledge in the field of application of regulations governing financial and payment services. This significant event was held in the amphitheater at Nemanjina 17, Belgrade, with the presence of managers and employees from UniCredit Bank Serbia branches.

Greeting:
The President of the Association’s Board of Directors, Bojan Terzić, officially opened the event, emphasizing the importance of continuous education in the field of banking law.
Educational lectures:
- Implementation of the Law on the Protection of Financial Services Users
- Speaker: Nikola Đukić, Head of the Department in the Sector for the Protection of Financial Services Users, NBS.
- Topic: Key aspects of the implementation of this law in practice.
- Application of the Paid Services Law
- Speaker: Bojan Terzić, President of the Association’s Board of Directors.
- Topic: Practical implications and regulatory frameworks.
- Fraud and abuse in payment transactions
- Speaker: Đorđe Gojković, Senior Associate in the Financial Services User Protection Sector, NBS.
- Opening an account and establishing a business relationship – basic AML guidelines
- Speaker: Silvija Duvančić – Gujaničić, Chief Supervisor at the Center for Special Control, NBS.
- Confidentiality and data protection
- Speaker: Nikola Lapčević, Director of the Legal Department, Erste Bank.
- Regulations covered: Law on Banks, Law on Payment Services, Law on the Protection of Business Secrets and Law on the Protection of Personal Data.
- Bills of exchange and guarantee instruments in banking practice
- Speaker: Gligorije Brajković, Director of the Legal Department, UniCredit Bank.
Working part:
The training also included a practical workshop with the solution of specific examples from banking practice, as well as a final test.
Results and awards
After successfully passing the final test, all participants received a certificate, while the most successful were awarded a certificate with distinction. This approach allows participants to immediately apply the acquired knowledge in everyday work tasks.
