Nikola Lapčević was born in 1977 in Belgrade. He graduated from the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law. He completed his legal internship at the Fifth Municipal Court in Belgrade. After passing the bar exam, he worked as an attorney at Živković Samardžić OAD law office in Belgrade.
In 2009, he became the Head of the Legal Sector at Crédit Agricole Serbia, where he gained extensive experience in banking law and financial regulations. Since 2015, he has held the same position at Erste Bank AD Novi Sad, where he continues to work today.
Throughout his career in the banking sector, Nikola has played a crucial role in structuring major financial transactions, including:
- Cross-border financing
- Renewable energy project financing
- Issuance of corporate bonds
- Social banking initiatives
Apart from his practical experience in financial law, Nikola Lapčević is also actively involved in Serbia’s legal community. In 2013, he was elected as a Judge at the Court of Honor of the Belgrade Chamber of Commerce, and since 2018, he has served as a Judge at the Court of Honor of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce.
He is one of the founding members of the Association for Banking Law, contributing to the advancement of legal frameworks within the Serbian banking sector.
